Secure Payment Processing
When you check out on VellureCase, your session runs over an encrypted connection secured by HTTPS/SSL encryption, so the personal and payment information you submit stays protected while it travels between your device and our servers.
Every transaction is routed through established third-party payment infrastructure, primarily Shopify Payments where relevant. VellureCase does not keep a copy of your complete card number on our own servers.
By moving sensitive financial data away from our internal systems, we keep the checkout experience simple for you while leaving the deeper security work to the partners best equipped to handle it.
Accepted Payment Methods
The exact choices offered at your checkout depend on what is currently supported for your session, and can include:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Card charges and any eligible digital-wallet purchases are all processed through Shopify Payments.
The particular set of payment options you see reflects what applies to your order at that moment.
Because wallet services like Apple Pay or Google Pay depend on the device, browser, and region you are using, one or the other may not always be offered when you shop with VellureCase.
Payment Security and PCI Standards
The data you provide at checkout moves across payment-partner and platform systems engineered to align with established card-security rules, including, where it applies, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Your card details are handled by that specific payment partner directly, following the security procedures and safeguards that partner has in place.
VellureCase does not itself collect or retain your full card number as part of ordinary checkout activity.
This structure keeps recognized safeguards in effect no matter which supported payment method you choose to use.
Payment Authorization
By placing an order and submitting payment, you are confirming each of the following:
- You are permitted to use the payment method you have chosen.
- The billing and payment information you supplied is correct and complete.
- You authorize the relevant payment provider to process your charge.
- You understand that your order may not go through if authorization for the payment is denied or otherwise fails.
Before it clears, a payment might need confirmation from the bank or card issuer involved, from Shopify Payments, or from another payment service handling the order.
Currency
Unless stated otherwise on a particular page, all prices shown on VellureCase are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Any taxes or additional charges that apply are calculated and disclosed to you as part of checkout.
Available shipping options, along with their cost, are also shown to you before payment is finalized.
If USD is not the currency your card or account normally uses, your card issuer or payment provider converts the charge on your behalf, applying whichever exchange rate and fees they set. Those extra costs are charged by that outside party rather than by VellureCase, and fall outside anything we are able to control.
Fraud Prevention and Order Verification
Orders can be reviewed for payment and fraud risk, a routine measure meant to protect both our customers and our business from unauthorized charges.
VellureCase reserves the right to place an order on hold, decline it, cancel it, or otherwise review it whenever there is reasonable cause to suspect fraud, an authorization issue, suspicious activity, or elevated risk.
We may occasionally request extra information or verification before an order is completed. If an order gets canceled once payment has gone through, whatever was charged goes back to the payment method originally used.
Checks like these are a standard feature of operating a secure online store, applied the same way for every order no matter its size or payment method.
Payment Issues
When a payment is declined or simply does not process, start by checking that everything you entered at checkout is accurate and that the method of payment you picked works for this kind of purchase.
Which of these approves your charge is largely out of our hands: your card issuer, the bank behind your account, Shopify Payments, or any other payment provider in the mix.
If the difficulty continues, our customer support team is on hand to help you work through checkout-related problems.
Keeping order details ready, like the contents of your cart and roughly when the payment attempt took place, helps our team look into the matter faster.
Refunds
Any refund we approve goes back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Once a refund has been issued, it may take your card issuer, your bank, or another provider a little extra time before the funds actually appear in your account.
For full details on which returns are eligible and how refunds are processed, see our Return and Refund Policy.
Privacy
We manage payment-related and personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, and the payment provider handling your transaction follows whatever practices apply on its end as well.
We may pass information to payment processors, fraud-detection services, and similar providers when it is reasonably necessary to finish a transaction, prevent unauthorized use, satisfy legal requirements, or keep our store operating normally.
For a fuller account of how VellureCase gathers, applies, and protects your personal information, our Privacy Policy has the details.
