How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, personal information is disclosed to service providers and other parties, to the extent reasonably necessary to operate VellureCase and deliver our services.
These recipients may include:
Shopify — the e-commerce platform powering our checkout and other site functions.
Shopify Payments — used to process payment transactions and related tasks, where applicable.
Fulfillment and Shipping Providers — the partners who pack, ship, track, and get customer orders to their destination.
Customer Support and Communication Providers — the team assisting with customer inquiries and communications.
Analytics and Marketing Providers — helping us measure Site performance and run permitted advertising campaigns.
Fraud Prevention and Security Providers — supporting the protection of transactions, customers, and the Site as a whole.
Government Authorities or Other Parties — where the law, a legal process, or the reasonable protection of our rights or security calls for disclosure.
In the everyday sense of exchanging data for cash, we do not sell personal information.
That said, certain uses of cookies, tracking pixels, advertising technologies, or comparable tools may still qualify as a “sale” or “share” under the definitions California privacy law sets.
Your Rights Under the CCPA and CPRA
Subject to the applicable requirements, limitations, and exceptions, California residents may hold the privacy rights outlined below.
Right to Know
You may request information about the categories of personal data collected about you, the purposes for which it is collected or used, the categories of sources it comes from, and, where relevant, the categories of third parties that have received it.
Right to Access
You may request access to the personal information we specifically hold about you, subject to identity-verification checks and any exceptions permitted by law.
Right to Delete
You may ask us to delete eligible personal information collected from you. Applicable law carves out exceptions to this right, for instance when we still need to keep the data for a genuine business or legal reason.
Right to Correct
If any personal information we hold about you turns out to be inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it; how we respond will reflect what the information is and why we process it.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
You have the right to tell us to stop selling or sharing your personal information, based on how applicable California privacy law defines the terms sale and sharing.
This right may extend to certain disclosures tied to cross-context behavioral advertising or comparable ad-related technologies.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
Where applicable, California residents may be entitled to restrict specific uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.
If VellureCase processes sensitive personal information in a way that triggers this right, the mechanisms California law requires will be made available.
Right to Non-Discrimination
Exercising any right the CCPA or CPRA grants you will not result in unlawful discrimination against you on our part.
Making use of an applicable privacy right will not lead to an unlawful denial of products or services, a change in pricing, or a different standard or quality of service.
How to Submit a Privacy Request
To exercise a right available to you under the CCPA/CPRA, please reach us using the details listed further below.
Tell us which right you wish to exercise, with enough information for us to find your records and respond appropriately.
Where the law requires or allows it, we may request additional information to reasonably verify your identity before your request is fulfilled.
Anything you submit for verification purposes is used only to confirm your identity and carry out the privacy request.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
California residents can ask VellureCase not to sell or share their personal information, using the definitions California privacy law assigns to those terms. This point is explained further on the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
If submitting your request by email, please use the following subject line:
“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Request”
The same result can be reached through any privacy-choice or opt-out tool that the Site provides.
When applicable law calls for it and doing so is technically feasible, we may treat recognized browser-based opt-out signals — for example, Global Privacy Control (GPC) — as a valid method of opting out.
Authorized Agents
Should you prefer, someone you authorize may act as your agent and submit a qualifying privacy request in your place.
Where the law permits, we might ask for reasonable evidence that this agent has authorization to represent you. We could also require you to verify your own identity directly, or to confirm in your own words that you authorized the agent to act on this request.
Changes to This CCPA Policy
We may update this CCPA Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our privacy practices, the technology and service partners we depend on, shifts in our business operations, or new legal requirements that apply to us.
Any update will be posted on this page along with a revised “Last Updated” date.
